Iran makes new film on terror attack on Shah Cheragh shrine

Iran has made a new short film on the October terrorist attack on the highly revered Shah Cheragh shrine in the southern province of Fars.

The short film is named ‘Guard’ (Mohafez).

The film will be aired on TV channels of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

“A boy who engages in a war against Daesh terrorists in order to protect his mother,” a synopsis for the film reads.

On October 26, just before the evening prayers, a terrorist opened fire indiscriminately on visitors within Shah Cheragh shrine, leaving 15 pilgrims,  including a lady and two children, dead, and at least 40 others injured.

The assailant was injured and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

The Daesh terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
